What is Safe Sport?
Safe Sport is a national and Gulf committee that works to create a healthy environment for swimmers so that we can all enjoy our sport! Our goal is to prevent physical, emotional, and sexual assault between all four member groups: coaches, swimmers, parents, and non athletes.

How Can I Help My Team In Terms of Safe Sport?
It is a requirement for all Athlete Representatives to take Safe Sport Training in order to ensure that our teams are safe, healthy environments for our swimmers. If you have not completed the trainings, please follow the links below to do so.
1. Creating a Feedback Jar where our teammates can anonymously put any comments/concerns/etc. that they have.
2. Be role models for the younger swimmers on our teams!
3. Share with our coaches what Safe Sport is and what we learned at Swimposium
*** As Gulf Athlete Reps, we want to make sure that we are standing up against any bullying or harassment. This includes not being a bystander, as bystanders allow perpetrators to carry out abuses!
Be kind and have your teammates' backs!
